Senior year is fun, bittersweet, and also a bit hectic. Make sure you celebrate all you've achieved and create lasting memories of your last year at Woodside High School.
The purpose of this area is to provide information to students and parents that pertains to Seniors. Please know that this page will be updated when information is available.
Graduation is scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9:30 am.
The graduation ceremony will be held at Bradley Field rain or shine. Tickets are NOT required for the event*. Seating is available on both sides of the field.
*Please note that WHS will follow and state and county guidelines if they are in effect.

Woodside High School will be hosting an in-person graduation ceremony for students who have met all requirements to graduate. This ceremony will occur on Friday, June 6 at 9:30 am on Bradley Field. Currently, the school is able to open the ceremony to all who wish to attend. Admission to graduation is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please read the attached letter for important information and dates.

Woodside High School organizará una ceremonia de graduación en persona para los estudiantes que hayan cumplido con todos los requisitos para graduarse. Please clear any detentions and fines now. Please check Infinite Campus about detentions and My School Bucks at bit.ly/whsbucks regarding fines. Students can also check in with Ms. Ken in the Library and Ms. Garcia in D-5 as well as their AVPs if they have questions about any fines or detentions. The last day to serve detentions will be Tuesday, May 27. Students need to be cleared in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

May 20 CAP & GOWN –All seniors participating in the graduation ceremony are to pick up their orange cap, orange gown, and tassel in D7 during lunch only. Students are only allowed to wear the provided orange gown during the ceremony. NO DECORATING CAPS!
BIRRETE Y TOGA –Todos los estudiantes del 12o grado que participaran en la ceremonia de graduación deben recoger su birrete naranja, toga naranja y borla en D7 durante el almuerzo solamente. A los estudiantes se les permitirá solamente vestir la toga naranja provista durante la ceremonia. ¡NO DECORACIONES EN LAS GORRAS!.
June 4 CLEARANCE FORMS- Clearance forms will be distributed to seniors in their Econ/Govt class the week of May 19. Seniors are required to turn in their clearance forms to guidance by 2:30 pm on this date. In order for a senior to be cleared, he/she will need all of the appropriate signatures as well as have no detentions. Students who do not turn in their clearance forms will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
FORMULARIOS DE AUTORIZACIÓN- Los formularios de autorización serán distribuidos a los estudiantes del 12o grado en su clase de Econ/Govt la semana del 19 de mayo . Se requiere que los estudiantes del 12o grado entreguen sus formularios de autorización en consejería a las 2:30 pm de este día. June 4 AWARDS NIGHT- 7:00 pm Performing Arts Center- The presentation of awards will start promptly at 7:00 pm. All WHS students and parents are encouraged to attend.

June 5 GRADUATION REHEARSAL- 9:00 am-10:45 am on Bradley Field.
Graduation rehearsal is a MANDATORY practice for all seniors who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony. Students will go through the full graduation practice multiple times. It is recommended to wear sunscreen. Students who do not attend the full graduation practice will not be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony.

All students with a role during the graduation ceremony (speakers, name readers, and class officers) are to attend a MANDATORY rehearsal. Further details about the rehearsal will be sent to the participants.

June 6 GRADUATION - 9:30 am Bradley Field
Graduating seniors should arrive no later than 9:00 am and report to the I-Wing lawn. Graduates are to line up according to their assigned row. Seniors will begin lining up around 9:20 am and will march onto Bradley Field at 9:30 am. Following the ceremony, graduates are suggested to have a meeting area with their families.

Woodside High School will host Prestige Portraits on campus to allow a limited number of students to take their senior portraits. This event will be on Thursday, December 5 from 11 am-6 pm in the MUR. Only the yearbook pose will be taken on this day. Please note that this date is the FINAL chance for anyone to take a senior portrait to be included in the yearbook. No exceptions!
Students who want to take advantage of Prestige Portraits being on campus must sign up for a time slot. To reserve a spot please complete the form at bit.ly/WHSseniorportrait. If you have questions stop by D7.

STEP ONE: Go to the booking website
STEP TWO: Create an account of log in (if you already have an account from prior graduates)
STEP THREE: Click on "Book Appointment"
STEP FOUR: Type in Your School Name in the school search field
STEP FIVE: Be sure to select "Your School Name" [Grad Year 2025]
STEP SIX: Select the session type that you want. Read the details carefully. Whatever you decide, you DO NOT PAY until you get to the studio.
If you want to take photos ONLY FOR YEAROOK PURPOSES, select the BASIC SESSION. Once you arrive to your appointment, let them know that you're there for the "No Pay Yearbook Only" session and you will not be charged.
STEP SEVEN: Select the date and time that works best for you. DO NOT schedule a session during school hours as this is an unexcused absence.
STEP EIGHT: Complete the contact form and "Finalize Appointment"
STEP NINE: Remember your log in details and have fun at your photography session!

The Sequoia Union High School District provides the graduation attire (cap, gown, and tassel) to comply with AB1575 stating that graduation is an integral part of the educational experience and therefore must be provided without cost to the student. The district will be purchasing the cap, gown, and tassel, which will then be checked out to seniors who are participating in the graduation ceremony.
Please click on this link to be directed to a digital packet from Herff Jones. There is NO COST to reserve the graduation unit (cap, gown, and tassel). Families who are interested in purchasing graduation announcements and class rings should mark the boxes at the end of the form
