Shadow Day Overview
title

The 8th-grade shadowing program at Woodside is set up in a way for prospective students to get a glimpse of an average day for a Woodside High School student. Shadows will be placed in small groups of 2-3 students. With their group, the shadows will observe 3 academic courses. Then the shadows will be taken on a tour of the campus with a WHS student. During the tour, shadows are encouraged to ask questions and inquire about various interests. Each shadow group is led by a WHS leadership student. The leadership student will escort the shadow students around campus as well as lead the tour.

Please note that the shadow students are NOT allowed to request shadow leaders. Furthermore, Woodside is not able to accommodate special requests of which classes are observed.

Shadows are to be in the main office by 9:15 am. The shadow day will end at 12:45 pm. Below is an overview of the day.

9:15 am
