Students who participate in uncompensated community service outside of school hours are eligible to receive elective credit on their transcripts. In order to have the credit noted on a transcript, students must complete parts 1 and 2 of the community service application prior to counting any of their hours towards school credit. Service required for another class (e.g. Leadership) may not be counted for additional school credit. Students who join the Octagon Club will also complete the application and work with club advisors to calculate their eligible hours and credit.
